SQB and Huawei expand strategic cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence

SQB and Huawei have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and banking infrastructure. The document envisions the implementation of innovative solutions and elevating digital transformation to a new stage.

Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the country is consistently implementing large-scale reforms aimed at developing the digital economy, digitalizing state and financial services, and widely introducing artificial intelligence technologies. This new partnership will contribute to achieving these goals.

Under the Memorandum, the parties will pursue:

🔹 the development of intelligent banking solutions;

🔹 the advancement of high-performance computing infrastructure;

🔹 improved efficiency of banking processes;

🔹 the introduction of new digital services based on artificial intelligence;

🔹 the implementation of joint projects for adopting international best practices and advanced technologies.

According to Tang Xiaoxiang, Director of Huawei Uzbekistan, SQB is actively developing digital technologies, enhancing customer experience, and expanding the application of intelligent solutions. This fully aligns with Huawei's strategy of creating new value through artificial intelligence technologies.

According to Sergey Kozlov, Chief AI Officer of SQB, the agreement will open new opportunities for the bank to attract advanced technologies and expertise from international specialists, accelerate digital transformation, and develop new intelligent products.
