SQB AI Hackathon: at the heart of digital future and innovative solutions

As part of the priority tasks set by the country's leadership for digital-economy development and the wide adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, SQB and New Uzbekistan University co-organised the "AI Hackathon".

The initiative engages young developers and startup teams in finding innovative solutions for real-world challenges in banking and finance, helping create new jobs and shape modern professional skills. The bank now puts special focus on using AI to simplify services and deeply analyse customer needs to deliver personalised offers.

Hackathon results: 1st place - a regional-analytics-based decision-making platform for entrepreneurs; 2nd place - an ATM network optimisation project covering cash flow and cash-in-transit logistics; 3rd place - a solution recommending new business directions based on regional competition and demand analysis.

Initiatives like these are an important step toward turning SQB not only into a financial institution, but also into a national centre of advanced technology and innovation.
